A digital audio workstation (D.A.W.) is an electronic device orcomputer software application for recording, editing and producing audio files. DAWs come in a wide variety of configurations from a single software program on a laptop, to an integrated stand-alone unit, all the way to a highly complex configuration of numerous components controlled by a central computer.

Virtual Studio Technology (VST) is a software interface that integrates software audio synthesizer and effect plugins with audio editors and recording systems.

I made this application "way way waaay" back in the VB6 days.
Most of the design was User Interface.
When the User tweaks the knobs, the Csound code would get written to customize the VST instrument.
Once the code was written by my Application, both the WAV and the sound template would be stored for the musician to either use in his/her music.
Executable File:
In order to perform sound synthesis, Csound must be installed aswell. It can be downloaded withing the application.
